Hi All,

I have some friends visiting in the first week of December - and whilst it's a shame that they are missing this fabulous weather - from my point of view, if last years Christmas lights around Bahnhofstrasse are anything to go by, it would be fantastic for my friends to see them.

Does anyone know when they are being switched on?

I didn't think last year's BH Strasse lights were very 'Christmassy' though... Where were the luminous Santa Clauses?

well you'll be pleased to know that the gazillion trillion francs worth of lights will be with us for 9 more years, I believe

I thought i saw the same lights in Ikea for 50 chuffs.

The new arty farty lights were indeed a let down compared to the traditional style. At least "they" were decent enough to react and try to improve them. At least the old style lights were still up in Rennweg.

I got here last xmas just in time to see the new lights, I didnt think much or could see the concept at work, pretty crap i thought. My wife said the older ones were awesome.
