A noisy evening, as Switzerland won .....

not the world-cup, but quite surprisingly against Spain in Durban.
The Tagi-article hardly needs translation :
http://www.tagesanzeiger.ch/wm2010/d...story/22780243

Nice was that the coach of the Spanish team, at the end embraced Mr Hitzfeld, the coach of the Swiss team and gratulated. Apparently a man with style !

But right now, the roads have become a bit noisy. Even if it has become more normal in the past half-hour, as people now have gone eating and drinking.

There is way to much gratuitous noise outside. I think that someone should call the cops.

After all a rule is a rule and the law is the law.

PS, my wife said that I should stop being so Swiss.

The Vuvuzela thing has arrived in the Glattbrugg area a week last Saturday, not least as Glattbrugg has a very big numbers of Black-Africans living here, many of them South-Africans .... beside the point that apparently also many Europeans love those things

I was going to say that all of the people I have seen with the blasted thing have been of Northern European extraction, so to speak.

Hmm, I was thinking that the noise stopped early this evening because there were indeed Swiss.

I heard that all bets with the noise restrictions are off during the WM.
