A huge ad in the Blick newspaper today stated... 10% off everything in all Migros and Migros related stores (Melectronics, do it, Obi, etc.). This is only valid for 17.June because Switzerland won against Spain. My husband commented earlier today....

I don't think very many people expected Switzerland to win, including Migros.

I'll try to think of what I need to buy from there tomorrow, though! 10% isn't a huge discount, but it certainly helps.

Cherries are much cheaper in Denner so 10% discount in Migros probably brings it to Denner level. Swiss probably don't care about the 10% discount. I think all immigrants would be lining up though LOL

I've noticed a lot of the fruits and vegetables from the discount stores taste like crap. It's really hard to know if what you are buying will taste ok. Have honestly never bought any from Denner but the stuff from Aldi can sometimes be sketchy. 10% off Migros cherries sounds like the perfect after Migros restaurant lunch dessert

agreed, I buy onions in Denner but that's as far as I'll go with buying their "fresh" produce.

I do 90% of my shopping at my local Migros (10% at coop) but yesterday they had run out of cherries so in desperation I went to Denner. Yeah the cherries were not that tasty there. That said Migros cherries are hit and miss too. Some days tasty and other days like the Denner ones.
