I noticed this too when I first got to CH, after having learned in a Toyota Carola.

However the Swiss do like their horsepower and better to learn in a good car and downgrade (or not, looking at some of the cars young Swiss drive) when you pass your test and can afford to buy a car.

If you can do a hill start with a 250 bhp car in the rain, you'll manage in anything else.

My first impression was its about a driving school with exotic dancers!!

Yes I have noticed that the driving schools do have some fancy cars.

The car I learned driving in, without the knowledge of my parents... on my own... ofcourse illegally was:
