This was just before 10am yesterday in Zurich. 20 Minutes has been getting some great pictures of the storms. They have a fotoblog and their Diashows are quite good too

There have been some wicked flashes and peals of thunder here in Zürich tonight.

The blinds on my windows are shaking with each peal of thunder, it's a pretty cool storm. Apart from no Sky TV that is....

I'm at the other end of that storm then, it goes all the way along the lake. I can now see Rapperswil castle again - 10 minutes ago, I could not see a third of the way.

Just to gloat, my two satellite systems are still working perfectly

anyone else glad they're not at the opening night of this years Orange Cinema?!
