Swiss lifestyle so may be halfway between the Turkish and the English lifestyle, and by halfway here I mean 40 to 60. It in CH is NOT Italian, not even 100% in the Ticino, it is not fully German and it is not really French (not even 85% in the Romandie). It basically is Western-Central-European (very close to Prague and Budapest for example), with a heavy Mediterranean influence.
Just as difficult as to define Istanbul. Is it Middle Eastern (Damascus, Cairo) ? Not really, no. Muslim ? Sure, with the Mosques dominating the skyline. But Tunis is more "MiddleEastern" than Istanbul in spite of a higher percentage of Muslims among its citizens.
So, to come to an end, not your English is THE problem, but the complexity of your questions |

Seems there are two camps who will answer this question.
Camp 1. It sucks
Camp 2. It's awesome.

You can make your 'lifestyle' how you'd like it to be. Well, in most cases and depending on your finances.
For example, some folk like to live out in the country (fresh air and outdoorsy surroundings) and some in cities or towns (clubbing or partying every weekend). Some live in small towns where the amenities are right at their doorstep but there are also small farms and woods very nearby.
Whatever the case, we need to follow the rules (some unwritten), laws and regulations closely or we'd tend to get into trouble with neighbours, the town council or the police.
Hope this makes things slightly clearer for you, OP.
By the way, your cryptic 'mreak' kind of freaks me out. Really, what did you mean?!

Also lonely, apparently, for some.

(...) | | | | | Nein, I don't know for English lifestyle but I can assure you Switzerland - Turkey is 150% different for lifestyle! They are total opposite!
I think he is asking us to put some picture of Switzerland, something he can find easily on Google.
Google bak, çok resim var. Bu ulkiye çok guzel ama çok çok pahali.

Also lonely, apparently, for some. | | | | | What I wanted to point out is, that there are ways to avoid getting into the trap of buying for example basic everyday things way too expensive, also the temptation is way to big to buy way too many different products for which one product would actually work perfectly well.
Toothpaste was just one example. Did you know that one can use it against pimples, yeah you know, those pimples in the face? ok, I'm confusing you am I not I better stop.
And yes people are lonely here, especially the elderly ...
but I think you meant the expat community, did you not?
Are you back in the country again menace? If yes, welcome back. |

Thanks Sada. You really want to know, huh?
I meant everyone. Swiss and non-Swiss alike. It's contagious, loneliness is.
You should check out the Flouride parts per million, 1500 is usually quite good. 500 or less is poor.
Not confused, heard that one back in the day. An old wives tale, I'm sure.
I know what you mean, thanks for the advice. Still, you can only compare with what you're used to, right? It is a tad pricey, even if you can shop around and buy some stuff cheap.
