A bit of a bizarre accident (?): In Oetwil am See occured an explosion in the train station toilet. A man was heavily injured and left the toilet aflame... he was saved by a busdriver with a fire extinguisher. Sniffing hairspray for the high or applying hairspray in a confined space and then lighting up a cigarette would do it.

I built something similar to this once, which used hairspray as the propellant. It didn't need much, just a quick squirt, so I can well believe using hairspray in a space such a WC and then lighting a cigarette would cause an explosion.

No idea why somebody would take petrol with him to a toilet and then light a cigarette or something. If it was an attempted suicide, the guy really chose a shitty place to die...

Budget constraints made them substitute the toilet for tires though... |
