Wow! That's quite a story if its true.

In Tokyo's Shibuya train station, there's a statue of Hachiko, a dog who waited everyday for his master's return. Unfortunately, his master had a stroke and never returned. Yet Hachiko appeared everyday for 11 years to wait for him:

You guys may be in the process of turning this woman into a cultural icon.

Rat Girl's always good for a few minutes entertainment while at the tram stop: she's always banging on to some innocent sap at the top of her lungs. Freaky thing is I saw her with her hair washed and dressed all posh once... she looked most uncomfortable. Likes to hang out at the China Garden area at the Züri Horn, cursing cyclists. The World would be a poorer place without Rat Girl and her Gang...

Yes thats the girl. I think she acts like a part time down and out. But goes back to her parents big house on the lake, when she runs out of money.

Re: Swiss Mystery #5: who is that nice old woman at Zurich HB?

Saw the little old lady Saturday morning. She wasn't asleep, but standing behind her wheelchair, leaning against it.

She had this look on her face like she wasn't real happy and wanted to rip someone's head off... that is when I made a wide circle around her I didn't want to become one of her statistics!

Keep smiling....

Re: Swiss Mystery #5: who is that nice old woman at Zurich HB?

The old lady was busily zipping by me and stamp just half an hour ago - she must be on the late shift today.

This evening in Bahnhofstr, I noticed an electric wheelchair trundling my way, with two occupants. They pulled up to me and asked for some small change and I saw they were homeless punks. The girl in the chair seemed to be the rightful owner, but the guy sitting on her lap looked like a slacker.

I hereby claim this sighting as a new tradition.

You should have taken a photo. They sound interesting.

Maybe we could have a photo competition, who ever takes the photo of the weirdest person of Zurich wins. But it has to be a real person, not a mate dressed up.

Hey Uncle M... those portraits are getting more and more life like... That is such an improvement on the drawing of a pigeon... are you the forum's very own picasso? Mind you... come to think of it the way you have captured that enigmatic smile, you could be more of a Di Vinci ;-)

And get called assholes
This never happened to Pablo Picasso
He could walk down your street
And girls could not resist his stare and
So Pablo Picasso was never called an asshole

Yes I think I did bring that up much earlier in the thread and we did discuss - try "page 1", this is a multipage thread now...

Hey Mark, I understood this question as meaning - "Is that Dude always so scantily clad?"

Now Richard will say - yes of course that's what I meant - I naturally started at the beginning of this thread - I wasn't a bit spaced out from spending too much time in the arcade...

Well I guess sometimes English isn't always very precise

Anyway - is a skin-tight shirt and tiny shorts scantily clad? Now a bikini would be scantily clad...

You've seen him in a shirt? I've only seen him in shorts and rollerblades, occasionally with something or other painted on his legs.
