They on Saturday 2nd October re-opened the beautiful Zunfthaus zur Zimmerleuten, which a few years ago got badly damaged by fire and had to be re-built. I just by chance passed there when it was officially re-openend. Reps of all the Zünfte with their flags were present and the Music from Urdorf played some marches. Then they paused for a moment, and then the flags were raised and waved to the tune of the National Anthem of Zürich, the Sechseläutenmarsch. And so, the Limmatquai has its marvel back.

we were walking down limmat from bellevue to central and chanced upon this restaurant.
I must say this was a real great experience. The food and the presentation was really good but what really stood out was their service.
This was a first time I have walked into a "Traditionally Swiss Restaurant", but their service, their warmth and their friendliness floored me.
The host was patient enough to humor my attempts of speaking in German, while quite comfortably switched to English for the benefit of my date.
The next time some one complains about Swiss standards of service please point them to this post. or better, visit this restaurant to experience this first hand. I am sure this will balance all the criticism you might have about the shopping malls or other places where you believe their service was not upto the mark
