Re: Photographers / Photography Club in Zug

This sunday, the 23rd, 10am near the swans statue at the Zug end of Lake Zug.

This isn't a huge, planned event or anything, just a meet and greet, to talk shop about photography and a stroll around to take some photos.

It will be a very casual affair.

When is the next one?
Bummer.

Nothing is planned at present for another gathering, but I guess there is a chance we may arrange something on Sunday for the future.

Will post here if we do.

I'm in as well!!
That sounds great mate, it will be good to have more come along. As I said 'the more the merrier'.

It will be good to meet more like minded people with a common interest and should be a fun (maybe cold) day.

No worries, I am sure we'll have another outing in the future. As said above, I will make sure to post details here for folks to see.

Hope you have a good weekend (making use of the fresh powder I hope)

Re: Photographers / Photography Club in Zug

Well, not long back from a great couple of hours walking around the old town of Zug, taking a stack of photos and talking 'shop' with Lou.

Was a fun time, the weather was just fantastic (and the company too).

We didn't set any dates for any future meet ups, but we are both keen to do something another time in the future and hope others will be able to tag along as well.

I will process some of my photos and post up to share.

Thanks for a great couple of hours Lou, was nice to meet you.

Looking forward to next time.

Re: Photographers / Photography Club in Zug

Brrrrrrrrrrr..... my fingers were nearly dropping off today even with all the sunshine. LOL

I was very envious of Lou's fingerless gloves.

An evening stroll would be fun too though.

Did you have a day/date in mind?

Was good to meet you too. The walk was good though a bit cold even in the sunshine. Look forward to doing it again!

Re: Photographers / Photography Club in Zug

Here's one from our walk today.

_"Daisy, Daisy,
Give me your answer do!
I'm half crazy,
All for the love of you!
It won't be a stylish marriage,
I can't afford a carriage
But you'll look sweet upon the seat
Of a bicycle made for two."_

Photograph taken with Nikon D7000, 18-55mm Nikkor lens @ 18mm, iso 100, f/4, shutter 1666/100000, handheld.
HDR created from 1 raw image tone mapped in photomatix and textures and final processing in PS CS4.

That could be very possible. I'll get back to you with more of a firm idea if that is doable.

Well, I am living in Zurich. I am graduating from my Master and looking for a PhD position. If I can get it, I will be very interested in.
