I need help to find civil engineer job

Hello everyone, i am a spanish civil engineer (bachelors degree and master degree).

My wife and I are thinking seriously about going to Switzerland to live for a very very long time.
We are very tired of our country, Spain, where the actual situation is sad.

My wife is trained as especial education teacher ( bachelors degree) and as psychologist teacher (master degree).

We know we have to do for the recognition of our title in Switzerland and to go there in the best possible conditions.

Any idea will be great.

Always the best advice is to first learn French or German to a good standard.

We've already been on holiday there and I've had family in Mollis (Glarus) near Zurich for many years, we were in December 2007 and were delighted with the country and its people.
Thank you

Re: I need help to find civil engineer job

There are not so many civil engineer jobs in Switzerland really.
Maybe you could talk to Luis & the two of you can set up a firm together.

Go to Switzerland and look for a job?

Well my previous company sold 3D engineering software (CAD) and we had almost one engineering office customer in every canton.

Re: I need help to find civil engineer job

Learn German and/or French to a good/very good level. That applies even more for your wife as her skills are probably impossible to apply without speaking the language fluently.
Once you do it, you'll not have to put up with biting remarks on this forum, but be able to find all the relevant information on your own.
The German speaking population is approx. 3x times bigger than the French one, so really learning both these languages well would increase the opportunities.

The newbie handling has really reached a high level.

What is so wrong in wanting to find a better life for yourself ?

We all want this in one way or another.

Why do you ask it?. No, we only have an intermediate level of English and we should learn German, French or both. Ideally, we could incorporate into a job that would give us the possibility to take intensive courses in French or German or both.
We are thinking about being parents and we are not willing to have our children grow up in Spanish society and the situation they will encounter as teenagers, because we have lost all the values we had when we were younger and do not want that for our children.
