I don't want to disappoint you but it will be hard to find a job with only English in Lugano. Italian is essential, but why don't you try to be a tutor in English. Try also in the local American school TASIS if they look for people. Good luck!

ananelink, do you know any students in the TEC-CH or Technologies for Human Communications master programs at USI? I'm looking into applying and am curious how they like, which program is stronger/preferred, etc.

maybe try a nanny job? i've seen a lot of post looking for english speakers for nannies/babysitters...try doing a search in the forum...the hours should be flexible which will work for your schedule

I understand your situation when i came to switzerland its also my problem. In my country i used to work as playgroup teacher but when i came here i just do the job of baby sitting and as a child minder with some international families. well good luck in finding job your too far from me if we in the same city i can give you some people whos needing baby sitter or a nanny.
