hi guys first time poster around here, now i know these sort of questions have been asked plenty of times and yes i have searched the forums, but my specific question is a bit different.

So basically i was just wondering how hard would it be for a EU member with a Level III Electronics Thecnician Course and a CCNA, MCITP:EDST and a RHCSA (Red Hat Certified Sys Admin) with a 1 year (last year) experience (3 year exp 7 years ago before comming to the UK) in Desktop Support 3rd level to get a possible job as a Junior IT Desktop support job in Switzerland around the Geneva area preferable?

What im looking to achieve is pretty simple, just wanted to really know if it would be a shot in the dark since i dont have a Undegrad (did go for 2 years and dropped due to financial reasons, dont think mentioning it would help me though) or if i would actually have good changes with my certifications / Experience and type of job wanted?

PS. My German is 0 and my French is not that good, but could improve greatly if need be.

As far as I know from last month of job hunting: experience and french level is most important regarding your CV. If you are certified and have experience, it shouldn't be problem to get a job in Geneva. But French language as a mother tongue is often requested for IT support positions. Check Elan IT's offers on jobup.ch - the biggest IT jobs agency here. You can try to contact one of their recruiters and ask him/her how are your chances. I guess pretty high

It think your chances are not bad. With only English as spoken language you should be able to find a support job as well I think. I found my IT job on jobs.ch, and I also only spoke English at that time.
