| | | Standard salary in Aldi?
Good afternoon EFers
Recently I've read an advertisement in Aldi, they need staffs who work for 50% - 70%. Is anybody in EF working there now? I just wonder how the working condition and salary for a normal staff there (in the cashier, refill goods, etc.) is? They said that applicants just need to finish their "Ausbildung" in any fields is OK. I'm working in a hotel, I got my BA in Hotel and Tourism here, but for some reasons I would like to change to a new industry and keep searching for a new job. I reget I wasted my time to study sth that later I dont really like.
Thank you for your replies in advance |

Thank you for your replies in advance | | | | | Working full time at Aldi you'll get 3696chf for the first year. So, I guess you can deduct 30-50% from that, depending on how much you work. http://unia.ch/news_aktionen.9.0.htm...ash=4a22825321

I doubt, that this salary will be payed out in more rural regions.

You could work in an Aldi warehouse or perhaps stacking shelves with limited German.

In shops, according to the article quoted above, the employees are required to to do all the things from cleaning, stocking the goods to manning the cashier. Looks like the language would be required.

Of course working in cashier in Aldi in Zurich or Bern.. region, we should know at least High German, beside English.
