Does anyone know about holiday benefits and sick time for a part time worker?

If hiring a part time nanny (less than 20 hours per week), is there required time to give for sick days and holidays?

Even hourly paid workers are entitled to 8.33% holiday pay. If the person is sick you have to pay them & also provide non work accident insurance if they work over 8 hours a week.
