It seems in Zurich demand for English lessons has dropped dramatically from multi-nationals because global economic pressures have shrunk their budgets. As a result working for language schools that draw their main business from this market isn't good presently. To cut a long story short I'm now looking into the French speaking parts, Vaud etc (I speak better French anyway), would anybody be able to suggest any language schools that might be doing ok at the moment? Please note I'm not interested in International Schools at the moment.

A friend of mine is working in this area and it seems that demand is dropping here (VD, GE) as well... she tells me there are less expats coming to the region now. There is some demand for german courses but less for english.

I noticed German is thriving better here as well. Dissapointing to hear its similar elsewhere too. :-(
