I just wanted to know if there's any reliable data as to what the "going rate" is for a swimming teacher in Switzerland? I have been offered 40francs an hour, is it reasonable for Geneva?
Also, any idea how much a patissier could earn in Geneva?
If you are being employed by someone/ a company/a school, then that is similar to the salary of a qualified, teacher with some expereince in a school.
But, if you are giving 1:1 private lessons, then that is not a great hourly rate for someone who is a qualified instructor. eg: it costs more than that for an hour with a qualified masseur, private tennis lessons, etc.

Hi there, I will be employed by a company which gives swimming lessons to classes of 6 or 7 kids. Like you said, I thought the wage was fair, she said it would start at 40, but go up as I gain more experience. Thanks for your message
