firstly, thanks to all the contributors on this great place. I did learn a lot of new info about writing resumes and job tips and this will surely come in handy.

I have an issue which I couldn't resolve with searching for info. I'm applying for job and don't know which CV style would be most appropriate. The company is USA based with Swiss headquarters. The staff is mixed, some Americans and some Swiss/German personnel. However, the place of work is eastern Europe, so it's quite of a multi-culty here.

The question is: should I go with Europass CV form or something different, custom made? I've been hearing pro et contra about the Europass: it's standarized and easily scanned, but the template is more than 8 years old. It has room for upgrade indeed.

Considering the job opening requires a touch of creativity and presentation skills, my guess would be going with custom or at least modified Europass style to ensure clarity? What's your take here?

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks. I've tried designing the header with a touch of corporate color and fonts. Dang, it looks great! Will probably retain the remaining Europass structure for the sake of clarity.

Based on what I could get with searching, the hiring manager is Swiss/German. So probably a custom modified based on Europass would be the ticket...

Thanks again for help. In the end I went with standard Europass design - I've actually asked the HR department and they've said it's OK. Have also enclosed a few references and the usual stuff which was mentioned in other topics.
