Fired during vacations?
Does anyone know if an employee can be fired during his/her vacations?

Not sure what the case is, legally speaking, but a friend of mine got fired the day he got back from sick leave (after getting hit by a car at the zebra crosswalk)..

If the person is still away on the last day of the month, then no it's not valid.
If the notice is received before the last day it's valid.
