I will admit - I fell in love with Switzerland. It was amazing view of the mountains i loved so much. My dream became to live here and work in order to stay in this glorious country.

Enough rambling. I am wondering what is the salary range for a software developer here at Switzerland if I have some experience and a good degree from well-known university?

I am curious what are the usual cost to live at Zurich: rent, food, entertainment and bills? I am very modest person and not interested in luxuries at all because I hate extra stuff at my home. It bothers me and life is not fun at all. What is the usual living costs for say, 4 persons family?

As much as I like Switzerland, I cannot eat the mountains for a living thus I just want to know what you, locals, consider reasonable amount of cash to live on every year? Once again, I am not interested in luxuries and other waste of space. :}

My dream is to not speak in English in this country thus I am learning German. It is fun.
