I am thinking about studying a course to Teach english, however I am wondering if the TESOL or TTTL course is recognised there or if I am better off to look into qualification with a different group?

Anyone there teaching english with a TESOL certificate that can vouch for it being recognised?

I just read another thread referring to this..but I'm sorry, I looked for it and could not find it. I believe there is a specific certification that must be obtained for public schools beginning this year...I would look around for that thread, perhaps someone else will know exactly where it is and post it for you. actually just to clarify something I forgot to add in the original...
Looking at teaching Adults, not school age kids.
Professionals and business english! Also I guess just anyone adult aged that wants to do language school, but not in a public school.

I've been looking for a job teaching ESL. I did a course in Thailand and have the certificate (TESOL), however I think that a CELTA is a much better qualification to have.
My requirments are difficult to meet though, I want a job where I get school holidays off and those are pretty thin on the ground it seems
