I have selected the options which hides voters.

Re: Salary poll

Supposing that people were to answer honestly, I think that you would need to add a few more "top end" options to the list to get the full picture.

(after all, it's been widely reported on this forum that it is not possible to live a decent life in Zürich with less than CHF140'000.....)

The options are monthly salary amounts, right?

Ps, is that in inches or centimetres?

A couple more low-end options might not be a bad idea either! (I can't be the only grad student around here...)

Re: Salary poll

I just want the OP to know, in case they are ever in a social situation or worse at a work party somewhere in CH, that you never ever ever ask a friend, co-work, boss . . . whoever how much they make. It is a huge break of rank in CH (in comparison to the US where it is a bit more accepted as far as I know) and it will not win you any friends or respect.

(yeah I forgot to say something sooner. . .doing research for school you know. . .)

I don't think an annual salary of in excess of 140K makes one rich. Comfortable maybe but rich not. For rich, you probably need to earn in excess of 500K per year. Incidentally given that there are "many" who have claimed earnings in excess of 140K would imply that the banding was not so well thought out. If it went 125-150 then 150-200 that would probably sort out the majority and put the right numbers to the appropriate earnings.

And finally who actually cares!
