Can an employer provide a Swiss work certificate a month after employment ends?
I decided to resign from my job and my employer informed me in writing that I should be receiving a Swiss work certificate a month after my employment contract ends.
I asked people around and even some Swiss people told me this is not the usual, that I should get this before the employment ends, and if I have any comment on the wording I should go back and ask for clarification.
So, going back to the question, is it legal for the employer to provide the certificate after the employment contract ends?
I looked a the Swiss Code of Obligations 330a and doesn't tell much, and some websites say one way or the other... so need your help asap since I'm running out of time for month end.
