Re: I am an au pair and I am forced to teach the kids my mother tongue
Either way, even if the agency won't help now since there's little time left till august, they might want to know because what the family is doing is sweatshopping. Go to the school teacher to get to know what kids do at school....wait, what? They are giving you homework? Sit and research at the PC after hours to prep teaching? Wow. I'd give them a nice page of what the au-pair is expected to do, legally, all printed out in August. Not lesson plan or a report of teaching objectives met. Don't let them stress you. Time they realized their kids might not care for Chinese here and now at all.
Some Swiss families are great, OP. Some are trying to get more for their buck than is legal. It is a very cost aware culture here, indeed. But there are generous people here, as well. Let the agency know..In return, they can give you a written reference instead of your "host family".
