I'm just finishing my contract at the end of January and wondered of any good way to get a job at a ski resort or any jobs about speaking english as my German is quite poor.

Hi Rosey you can try these sites, a lot of them want chalet host/hostesses as well as chefs..they genrally offer free accomodation, food and ski pass/ equipment hire....they are mainly in the French part of Switzerland and from October to about April...Good Luck

I know im resurrecting a EXTREMELY old thread, but does anyone have any contacts or information regarding working at a ski resort over the northern hemisphere winter 2011-12? I have a mate coming from Australia that is keen to check out the Alps and would love to find some seasonal work

Hi there! I am tryin to find a job for next season too! did a season in aspen, co a few years back and loved it...would like to do the same thing in switzerland...relocation wouldnt be a problem! any ideas welcome

Search ski jobs on google and you'll get a list of the major agencies and operators from the UK. If you start looking now there are some quite interesting jobs oout there.
Salaries with the UK companies are generally low but they normally include accomodation, ski pass, ski hire, food, uniform etc....
Otherwise for a better salary you need to pick a resort, head off there and try to find work then accomodation etc
There are obviously advantages and disadvantages for both.
