Protocol after second interview

I recently had a second interview with a company in Zurich, and am wondering if I messed up the post interview protocol.

In addition to the hiring manager, I met with a senior team member, the next higher up, and was given a tour of the department, then a presentation about the project I would be working on. Being quite sure I wanted to work there and when the hiring manager asked me to give my feedback soon, I immediately said I hoped for a positive decision.

Am going through the usual jitters waiting for a decision, and wondering if I should have replied a day later by email, outlining what I liked etc etc.

Also, would it have been expected to write to everyone who I spoke to, or just give my feedback to the hiring manager?

No harm to drop a note of "thank you" to everyone that 1) spent time on/with you and 2) you remember name and have contact info of.

If you didn't do that and it's already been quite a few days (>3 days) anyway, just leave it try not to overthink it - there is nothing you can do now.

Thanks.

Am more worried whether I created the wrong impression by saying yes immediately after the interview ended.

After the first interview it is typical to give feedback after a day or two, does this also apply to further interview rounds?

Showing strong interest is not a bad thing; as an employer I'd rather offer a job to someone I'm confident is going to accept, really wants it, and doesn't let things go if there's no response.

I'd suggest dropping the hiring manager a note, asking for a progress update, if they want any more information from you, and indicating you are keen to move to the next stage if selected.

I would not play hard to get before actually getting the offer. Employers would take into consideration how likely you would take the offer.
