Hi all,

i recently look for these jobs and i found that for Bus Driver they need a C1 level at minimum.Somebody know about the Tram or Train driver what level they need?

p.s
In the hospital that my brother works they need Dermatologists and they ask for B1 level. Is that weird only for me?

For being a bus or truck Driver you Need the driving licence of a truck or/and bus Driver

For Trams and Trains you have to check up with VBZ or SBB

My personal dream is to once be put behind the controls of a Basel or Zurich tram and just drive it between a few stops.

There is in Basel a tram enthusiasts club who look after the old-timer trams - I understand they have a section of test track off the main network where they allow amateurs to have a go - with an experienced driver on hand to stop you derailing it.

Nothing to do with the OP - but worth a mention.

Cheers,
Nick
You probably already know this. For just CHF 850 the RB allows a guest to ride upfront with the locomotive driver:

https://www.rhb.ch/en/world-of-railw...ootplate-rides

The SBB also has an upfront ride for CHF 785:

Shouldn't the question be:

- "what's a Greek urn?"

Suggest you google on "sbb lokführer lohn".

Here are two results:
http://www.lohnanalyse.de/ch/loehne/...fuehrerin.html

http://www.blick.ch/news/wirtschaft/...id1840709.html

(2nd page on chart to see SBB wages).
So SBB pay the cleaners and secretaries (3841) 16% more than the drivers (3298)

Or you could get 50% more driving a Zurich tram

That must surely be a typo?

SBB pays "Lokführer" (train driver) CHF 5'332 per month, according to Blick survey. "Chauffeur" at CHF 3'298 is probably a driver of a car. Both are 13 month basis.

So I guess that would be the gross salary?

Re: Tram-Bus-Train Driver

It would be on a 13-month basis: CHF 5'332 x 13 = CHF 71'916.

To determine the approximate net income, use a Steuerberechner. This is one for the Canton Aargau:

https://www.ag.ch/de/dfr/steuern/nat...berechnung.jsp

Income tax varies across Switzerland depending on the canton and community where you live. Aargau is considered an "average tax" canton.

I am not so sure. Driving a tram in the city is not my idea of fun. Havent you heard all the tram bells ringing in busy areas of the city? Recently a man was killed trying to jump inbetween two cars of a tram in Basel, barfusserplatz.

Thank you. I don't seem to have the "Thanks this user" button around here, maybe because I'm new.
