RAV - Resigned Job - Travel During Penalty Period

Hello -

I have resigned my job and plan on staying in Switzerland. I have a EU-B permit. I expect to be penalized for 0-90 days for having voluntarily resigned my role. During this penalty phase, what are my obligations? I understand that I must look for a role but can I travel outside of Switzerland and not be further penalized?

Thanks

Are you traveling for vacation or to look for a job?

Even if you are penalised for 90 days, you have the same obligations as if you receive money from RAV. This means that you need to continue your active job search and should be in the canton. You need to inform RAV of your travels.

I'm pleased your purported ability to travel means you won't have issues affording a potential 0-90 days penalty.

Once you sign on, the RAV is your "employer", you'll need their approval, penalty phase or not. What are your priorities?
