I know my girlfriend will want to return to Geneva sometime next year and I am worried about getting a job in Geneva in my field..

I'm an internet project manager, but do not speak French, I was there for 2 years and got no where, ended up commuting to london twice a week for 2 years lol ... I guess I could have tried harder ? but certainly did not find it easy finding a job without French..

Any one got an idea what companies may take me on with out the language ?

Not easy. I'd say either :

- Companies & NGO that use English internally

- International positions where the company is ok to have you based in Geneva

Thanks mate ! kind of what I thought as well.. but not so easy for my type of job, that needs to talk to people, deal with them, negotiate, outsourcing etc ...

Even if I start learning French I think it would be a while before I could conduct business meetings, which uses concept, in French.

Perhaps have to look in different araes with in a wider field.
