What is AHV for and how do I get an AHV card?

AHV = Alters- und Hinterlassenenrente, so basically your pension. There is a bit of information available on this subject in English on <http://www.ch.ch/private/00045/00046...x.html?lang=en>

To get a AHV card, you have to go to your "Gemeinde" and have one ordered from there
