My C-permit should be showing up any day now. Finally. If I understand things correctly, the new permit should increase my employment options...which leads me to my question:

Can I work in Switzerland but bill non-Swiss companies? Example: I live here in Zürich, work here most of the time (my flat, my own office, whatever), but get paid by a UK company for the work I do as a contractor? Or would I have to work something out, like letting up a GmbH? Or...???

No plans for any move now...just want to know what the options are a bit down the road...grease up the networking machine...etc...

EDIT- stuinzuri are you an EU guy? If yes then did you have to take a language test for your C?

No...I'm a lowly non-EU guy Need to be careful...don't want to be caught and sent home!

I am, got the C permit recently without a language test.
