Network Engineer is thinking to move to Switzerland

Hello Everybody,

First I would like to thank you all by sharing your experience and your knowledge.

I am a network engineer and currently working for an internet service provider in the UK.

My questions are:

What are salary expectations as a network engineer with 08years experience and German electrical engineering degree(Fachhochsule) and good linguistic skills(English,French and German)?.

do you know any companies looking for a network engineer(cisco, juniper)?.

Thanks in advance.

Peacelover.

Yo,

Assume you're moving to Lausanne there will be no problems for opportunities - I use jobup.ch daily it's pretty good.

As for Salary requirements, it's not something that's generally talked about socially here in CH - I'll PM you some numbers

Mark

Considering your profile, you might want to get in touch and have a few beers with the folks at SWINOG, the Swiss Network Operators Group .

Re: Network Engineer is thinking to move to Switzerland

Hello,

The best place to find elite job opportunities like for an experienced Cisco engineer (assuming you have enterprise experience and the certs) is on http://www.qual.ch

It's an elite recruitment website that focuses only on top prestigious companies and large organizations.

There's also info and articles on their blog http://qual-features.com but for street info, this forum is much better and more immediate/reactive.
