Hi Maksim, wow u've really raised a racket with ur question about unemployment benefits in Switzerland..All these people should see how it works in italy, where it is a common habit to get temporary jobs, quit them and live for the next 6 months on the RAV,but that's Italy indeed and that's maybe one of the thousand reasons why its economy is so disastrous :-) I think u should contact the Ufficio di collocamento in Lugano, Via S. Gottardo 17,tel. 0041 91 960 46 00, dfe-urclug@ti.ch
They should be able to help u. Good luck!
They do great pasta, and just about the best renaissance architecture around...though as you state, let's not look to Italy for anything fiscal.

I'm sorry but you are planning on unemployment and want to be paid to do nothing....what about this don't you understand? This obviously won't make a difference to you but I think it's disgusting. Of course, if someone suddenly finds themselves without work there should be a temporary safety net...but there is always some sort of work to be done. Burger King in HB is hiring, try there.
No, I am not planning, please read carefully what I've said before. I am looking here for advices how to get RAV if I will not be able to find a job in the foreseeable future and somehow your posts are not very useful.
