Dear All,

I was offered a job in the region of Geneva: 130 kCHF p.a. (gross); + 10% bonus (30% deductions from gross - as far as I know).
Job: diverse controlling activities (finance) at the European hq of a multinational company; no subordinates.
Current experience: 4 years auditing; 4 years in a plant as plant controller (4 subordinates).

Questions:
1. Is the mentioned salary enough for a family (wife+baby+myself)?
2. Is the offer fair compared to the experience?

130+ should be more than enough to survive on. Plus you can go shopping in France.

Also check out auditing jobs - I know you could get more with financial auditing experince - maybe the "next step"

I think the salary is quite good but I also know that it is very hard to find an apartment/house in Geneva and surroundings and that prices are very high. Will your employer help you to find something and possibly pay your rent?

ur pay is 130K CHF plus 10% bonus, so that makes it 143K CHF, right ? This is your gross income, net would be 143K CHF minus 30%, so basiczlly ur net is around 100K CHF ?

Very topical though, as both Geneva and Neuchatel are today voting on a minimum wage (which will be a fraction of the above if it goes through).
