Folks,

A friend of mine is looking at coming over here for a few months during the summer, and she'd like to get some work as an English teacher. She is a fully qualified teacher in Ireland (so a Work Permit shouldn't be an issue), and has experience teaching English as a foreign language (most recently a 6 month stint in South Korea).

I was suggesting that she look at the Business Language schools around Geneva, but was just wondering if anyone else here has any suggestions on how to find an employer.

I've already sent her on links to ETAS and a few other sites, and to this thread here on EF, but I was unable to find anything that deals specifically with CELTA/TEFL jobs on offer.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If she teaches children, perhaps summer camps. And schools that have summer sessions/summer camps.

She teaches children in Ireland, and has taught adults on the TEFL/CELTA scene, so both are an option.

I'll let her know to look at it.

In the meantime, if anyone has any suggestions as to particular summer camps or schools, or knows of any openings, just post it here or send me a PM, please.
