| I worked in a jardin d'enfants (mornings only) near Lausanne and my pay was around 40,000 CHF with 4 weeks paid holiday a year. Don't know if that helps.
Be warned, it can be a nightmare getting permission to work in local childcare or education here due to the difficulty in proving that your qualifications are equivalent to Swiss qualifications.
There is also the language issue. I was working in a bilingual jardin d'enfants, and I was supposed to have B2 level in the local language so I could communicate with parents (even though my job was to speak English to the children).
To work in a local school, I was told by the EDK I would need C2 level in the local language.
I hope that's useful to you. | |

I think you only need C2 if you teach a subject in a local language. To be a foreign language teacher, you still need only B2 of one of the local languages, it is mentioned at the EDK web.
