Terminated Employment Benefit

Hi Guys,

At the end of April, my employment was terminated by the employer. I understood that this needed to be the case, instead of voluntary termination in order to claim benefit while looking for something new.

Could someone kindly inform me as to where I would need to go in order to register for unemployment benefit? I'm told that I will be entitled to something like 70% of my salary while I'm looking for a new role.

I hold the B permit here. Info relating to what papers i need to take, when i need to take them and to where will be extremely helpful.

thanks

Re: Terminated Employment Benefit

thanks. oerlikon is just two tram stops away. i actually pushed for the termination from employer's side, especially as I do have a new role lined up. But the start date / confirmation has not yet come through as it is an internship initially.

thank you
