Driving Time / Work Time

Hi,

I have a question regarding time I spend in the car to go for a few months each day 4 days a week for a project to another city.

As far as I have understood as per

http://www.admin.ch/ch/d/sr/822_111/a13.html

The difference between my normal driving time (40 minutes back and forth) to the office and the customers site is being accounted as working time.

So lets say I need 3 hours back and forth, minus 40 minutes = 2 hours and 20 minutes of working time?

My employer is trying to push me to spend like 10 hours each day with the customer and suggested he would count one hour of driving each as working time.

I smell a rip-off. Am I wrong?

I am in the IT sector.

Regards

Lukas

Re: Driving Time / Work Time

I think that is how it mostly goes? but you can get your gas paid for and wear and there.
In my previous company they paid 70 cents per km if you used your personal vehicle. and that pretty much compensated for driving time.
It might be different everywhere tho?
