Insurance Companies in Switzerland

Hi All,
Can anyone kindly share the list of Insurance companies operating in Switzerland ? I am looking for the possible job opportunities in Insurance sector. Alternatively, it would be of great help if anyone can share the details of any Insurance job agency/ies.

Thanks in advance,

Sorry to say and I hope you don't get offended, but you are looking to work in the insurance industry here and you don't know who the companies are? Did you spend long researching your chosen career?!

Suggest you don't mention that at the interview!

A good in written German is required, for internal reporting to the company.
Additioanlly the swiss german is necessary if you havr to sell the product
to the customer

This is not true for all insurance companies operating here. The large international companies ie. Zuirch, are all operating in english. Yes german is extremley helpful but there are lots of people in working in Insurance in Switzerland who do not even speak german.

But yes smaller local companies and brokers are operting in the local languages.

It all depends on what level in the management you work. A entry level job would require German. So also middle level management, again it depends on the company.

This is nonsense. It is all about the position. On all levels there are both English and German speaking jobs. It just depends on what you do. If you focus on the Swiss market then of course you need to speak German, Italian or French. For internal positions or internationally focused positions, English is sufficient.

Thank you, your text reveals to me that we are both on the same wave length, ou replies are very much telling the same
It is all about positions read with It just depends on what you do. (inside the insurance company). So 'nonsense' is rather misplaced according to me.
I have read some advts in the local German newspapers (Basle and Zurich) where the insurance company required knowledge of German
in addition to English. (the advt was not in english too)
Best wishes
