Re: SAP Training

And here I was, worried that younger people would come into the market and steal my job. Seems I'm safe for a few more years yet, if this is the level of expertise coming my way.

Re: SAP Training

Thanks for the support. I got feedback from the SAP training center in Regensdorf. They don't have SAP course in English but they suggested E-Academy at the following link:
http://www.sap.com/swiss/services/ed...|3||DE|%5d%5d|
Price is 3200 EUR including support, materials and exam. The lady informed me there is 15% discount now.
Regards,
Robert

Re: SAP Training

It's a lot of money to spend, and the chances of getting a ROI are, in my opinion, small. Just be aware of that, before you sign on the dotted line.

Re: SAP Training

Hello Robert10

I was wondering if you got to do the e-learning option and if so how was your experience?

Re: SAP Training

Hi OP, I know it's an old post but I was wondering if you were part of the forum, if you have done your SAP training course, and if yes, has it helped you finding a job?

They are. But it's experience that's wanted.

So you can't score a job without experience, but you can't get experience without scoring a job.
Am I missing something?

Yes, but if there are not sufficient experienced candidates around, companies will have to go with what's available. That's the question.

Re: SAP Training

Most of the SAP people I know were either retrained internally from a similar IT or related business role, or were plucked from university by one of the big consulting firms.
