First of all, I'm a very proud new member of the English Forum and a brand new resident of Switzerland.

I've been offered a job in 2 large trading companies in Zug. I'm a legal assistant with a strong legal background and 3 years of experience.

As I'm new in Switzerland and I'm not sure which is the salary I should expect for those jobs, I'd really appreciate any advice you could give me.

Legal Assistant is pretty vague. Do you lean on the side of admin. assistant or paralegal. If more paralegal with a 4 year education those figures will go up significantly. Try the salary expert calculator.

I've searched for a post like mine, but unfortunately, I couldn't find any. I just found assistant and executive assistant salaries.

Regarding my job, I'll be working doing many activities, like helping lawyers, drafting contracts and other documents and filing.

I'd appreciate any help you could give me as I'll need to negotiate my salary in the incoming week, and I don't want to regret later..
