[Zurich] Smoke-free restaurants

We are looking for good non smoking restaurants in the Zurich area. Please help! We are desperately seeking healthy lungs in Switzerland....but it seems so hard to find if you enjoy eating out.

http://www.rauchfreiessen.ch/

search on your kanton and it will list the restaurants with smoke free nights or areas.

Fur Zurich people, see this site on a new referendum:

If you truly are from Virginia, then there is the shame of the public education system in America and the south. Misplaced commas, incorrect word choices and use, overdone exclamation marks. I've not even approached the manner in which it was "said" either. Not a productive way to begin with your first post. Unless, of course, you're a troll.

Re: non smoking restaurants

I would have stopped at the end of the first sentence unless you want to further fuel the (anti)smoking debate, which has been covered many times here and elsewhere.

If you are looking for healthy lungs then simply go lakeside. Many people have exclaimed to me : "Look at the lungs on that !!" or "What a magnificent pair of lungs !" I presume this is what you mean ?

Zurich restaurants going smoke free?

Nimmi Restaurant (my favourite Tamil spot) on Josephstrasse near Langstrasse is now smoke free as of this weekend. The owner told me it was a personal business decision, but that a couple other restaurants in the neighbourhood had also gone smoke-free.

He mentioned that all of Zurich may go smoke-free 2 months from now. That would be amazing.
