Magazine for Geneva English community?

As far as I know there is no English magazine of any kind for English speakers in Geneva. I have rumours of a new one coming out..Geneva Times? Does anyone know anything about this..like what its focus will be and when it will be available?

Jane

There is already the WRG quarterly. With WRG going national this is probably going to change.

There is also Swissnews, and Hello (Bern, Basel, Zurich), but not much about Geneva inside, except us who advertise in them.
I think Cream is still around

Re: Magazine for Geneva English community?

Thanks for the replies guys. Just wanted to let anyone who is intereted know that I did manage to find the Geneva Times, www.gtimes.org. The site is still under construction but according to the editor who I had the chance to communicate with via email, should be running smoothly within a few weeks They will be setting up a weekly electronic newletter, collating the local news for the Geneva, la Cote region. The subscription link for this is not yet on the site but you can contact info@gtimes.org to "pre-subscribe". As for the magazine itself it seems like it is going to be a kind of grassroots thing put together by the expat community (take a look at the About Us page). I guess anyone can submit articles and even creative pieces for consideration.

Regards
J

I'm very nonplussed about subscribing to the same outfit that killed Cream without refunds. Is it the same lot?

Launch party

For those in the Geneva region it seems like Geneva Times is holding a launch party this Fri (sept.28th) might be fun to check it out! Free drinks and nibbles too but do need to rsvp. Check out the site (www.gtimes.org)
