Best after work place in Basel???

Hello!

Since I only have lived in Basel, CH since 3rd of January I have never had the chance to test Basel's after work. But I do love to discover "new" restaurants (new for me at least). So please I need your advices!

Where is the best after work?
Which kind of people go there? Which days? During which time is appropriate to go there? Does the place have a complementary buffe? Tell me everything..!
I'm not looking for a certain kind of style or ambience. Just your recommendations.

Or perhaps after work isn't such a big thing here in Switzerland?

Have you found anywhere yet you can recommend? I tend to be doing work-tram-home on a Friday. I miss my Friday after work drink I had in the UK!

Or if you get your skates on there are LOTS of people down here at the Kuppel, Binningerstrasse 14 for the stand up comedy...
