Only just heard about this - a comic festival running is Luzern from 9th-17th of April. Lots of exhibitions of comic art, guest speakers, films etc, check out the website here!

American artist/writer Daniel Clowes will be there this Saturday (author of Ghost World, plus many others, that one just happens to be my all time favourite comic) doing a talk and then showing the movie adaptation in the evening.

Anyone else thinking of going?

Have to go this year. A few bars and shops display original artwork from the festival too, but couldn't find which ones from the website.

Metzegerhalle has some pretty cool ones up already, I grabbed a few (poor) pics last time I was there, I'll put them up later.

Comix, as I know used to the the underground variety (anything from arty to seedy to downright pornographic) and I guess you'd classify anything Marvel/DC as comics - floppies..?
