Hi,

I found restaurant Maharaja , near Chauderon, in Lausanne a good place to reasonally priced Indian menu. (CHF 15 for a meal)

Are there anymore similar around?

Is this a price for a weekday lunch or generic price of a portions. Most of the restaurants have different prices for weekday lunches. In any case seems a good option to explore during the visit to lausanne. Thanks

there is also one on valentin that has 15 for lunch but not sure about the dinner prices. havent eaten there so i can't say it's any good but so far my favorite is a little one near globus, next door to the japanese clothing shop, delicious but pricey. lentil soup was great! we will have to try the one at chauderon, thanks!

Also, if this thread is directed towards affordable good non-Indian food places: I can soooo recommend Chez Xu (infamous Lausannois Chinese place).

You can find them at Riponne - try the boeuf piquant - SPICY

Apparently they also opened a second one somewhere at Petit Chêne, but I haven't checked it out yet.
