Pie Stand at Viadukt

Wellll most probably you all know it already :-)

The pies are SO good!

And it's next to the cheese stand...
And the people there will smile at you while selling you the pies!
(Especially the young lady from Saturday evening thank you!)

Unfortunately he wasn't working there on Saturday evening, and neither was I for that matter.

And the young lady selling the pies that evening is very popular with the chaps, I've been told her eyes can sink a battleship..... well it must be true, as I don't think there any battleships left in the country.

OP, thanks for the plug!

Re: Pie Stand at Viadukt

Matter of interest I assume dogs are not allowed in the Viadukt market hall because of selling food?

I ask because I did not see any "no dog" signs & there is also a bar & restaurant in there who normally allow dogs in.

Good dog. Probably knew he wasn't allowed to carry liquids or pastes through security.

I would pay to see a dog cock his leg against one of those over officious types.

Totally agree. I ordered a whole load for an evening event, they were delivered warm for free which was great, and they disappeared very fast!

Re: Pie Stand at Viadukt

Squeeez kindly sent me the link below.

http://thepieshop.ch/shop/index.php?act=viewCat&catId=2

Placed my order with hubby who works 5 mins away from the Viadukt. We bought one of each variety to try (and maybe a couple more).

They are divine!

Re: Pie Stand at Viadukt

Just wanted to add that they also have a shop at the top of Rotbuchstrasse near Schaffhauserplatz.

And the pies are very good, sehr lecker. This is coming from someone from a town where it is a legal requirement that every high street must have at least one pie shop
