Well, me CJ and another couple decided to try this place out. Not much on Zuritipp for a mellow Sunday. Clubs too noisy everywhere else pretty much closed. We arrived in a taxi, a door man was quick to open my door and show us to our friends at an outside table for smokers. First impressions were good, being smokers we appreciated the tables outside, just a quick step inside to the main bar where the attentive excellent service continued all night. They spoke very good English and had a friendly manner with a sense of humour. They knew the Drinks card inside out and made some very good suggestions to our tastes including exchanging for free the cocktail we were not too fussed about.(actually it was a book, so a must for Cocktail and spirit lovers).
The lounge inside was not very busy. It was quite bright and cheerful in places with enough sofas in more shaded areas for those wanting more privacy. The 20 foot high glass shelves behind the bar lined with a huge range of exclusive Vodkas, matched either side by an impressive array of Whisky, Rum and Cognacs.
We drank the night away, chill out / Buddha Bar music playing in the background, our glasses constantly kept full, We really enjoyed it. The service really kicked in when our guests spilled a drink on a jacket and Gucci dress . They whisked the jacket away and did their dammed best with stain removers and repellents to minimise the damage. Sincere concern showed by all the staff. We happily paid the 450CHf bill (around 20 drinks, including some snacks and nightcaps), As we went outside 2 immaculate Merc S Class taxis were already waiting for us, and turned out to be the cheapest ever on the way home, beating the usual 32CHF fare by 9CHF.
We would definitely go again. It impressed us, and our guests and for that reason alone I would suggest it if you wanted to impress someone special. It easily matched our regular haunt - Tao's for service and range of Cocktails.
