On the suggestion of another thread, post places where one can go out for a drink and enjoy a cigarette without having sour looks from the unenligthened

From Luzern (prob not complete),

One of my faves, Bar 58, tiny gothic pub with (usualy) cool music. Great in winter, can get a bit warm in summer.

Haifish bar, popular with the young crowd.

Capitol Bar, next to the cinema, also popular with the young crowd, has seating outside, near a main road but still actually quite nice of a summer evening.

Havanna Bar + Cafe, bit more upmarket, cuban in style, popular with the cigar smokers, where they sell a bit of a selection, smoking and non-smoking sections with one of those airtight rooms. Seating outside too.

Roadhouse, bar/nightclub, bit mainstream for my tastes, but can be a fun night out, enclosed smoking area downstairs.

Sedel Nightclub, the old prison, some great stuff goes on there on occasions, not sure if it's actually smoking or it's just an anything goes kind of place.

All I can think of for now.

The Red Ochre in Uster right by the train station on the other side of the tracks (11 minutes direct train from Stadelhofen / 15 mins from HB).

There is a large lounge and bar area where smokers can enjoy themselves guilt free. The restaurant is non smoking and offers the same menu as Outback. Gets busy every evening and really busy on weekends.

It's part of the Outback/Mama Africa chain.

It's just down the road from my place ... lucky me

In zurich there's Blue Monkey and Taos.

Some others but you need to buy membership.

Musn't forget Magdis, always full of interesting types, great late night spot, try the karachios (unsure of spelling) to keep you going all night long.

Then pop down to the awful but much loved by some Downtown nightclub a couple of doors down.
