Hey Olivier! Welcome to Zürich.
I haven't gone out to any nights since arriving to Zürich. I've been working on setting up our flat and my wife is quite pregnant ATM so it just doesn't feel like the time to go out schmoozing promoters at nightclubs till the wee hours of the morning.
What I have been doing is keeping my ear to the ground about events and who's coming to town. Zürich seams to have a very healthy nightlife for electronic music lovers. I've noticed heaps of excelent acts are coming to town on a regular like, Magda, Ben Klock, Len Faki, The Hestle Audio Crew (Pearson Sound, Ben UFO, Pangaea) Kingdom, Matthias Tanzmann, Malente, etc... Subb-an is going to be at Hive on the 28th. Jackmaster at the Numbers crew are going to be at Hive as well on Feb 24th. HUGE night IMO.
I checked out
http://ch.tilllate.com/en/all which Lee had suggested to me. While it is a good source for a list of clubs and promoters in the city, I found the site for the most part is set up as a kind of dating site for nightclub patrons. Plus the events that get covered on a regular basis seam to be of the more mainstream variety. Now if the variety of house/electro/progressive you play is along the Afrojack, Swedish House Mafia, Deadmau5 tip, then I think that site would be a great place for you to connect with people. If you're brand of house/electro/progressive is more along the lines of Maceo Plex, Henry Saiz, John Digweed, then I'm not sure if that's the spot.
I'd also check out
http://www.residentadvisor.net/ which is a great resource for the more underground type of events. This is where I get most of my info about upcoming events. You can set your region to be Switzerland and will get updates about CH events and even search members in your area to connect with and befriend.
So the long of the short of it, tillate is more of the bar scene and doesn't seam too geared towards the music. Resident Advisor more towards the music.
Hope this helps!
So I just have to geek out here and ask a few questions.
What type of prog/electro/house are you playing? Who are your favourite DJs and producers?
Do you produce? What software do you use?
What medium do you use to DJ? Vinyl? CDJs? Controller? DVS?
